Bees and other pollinating insects will seek out the large and showy flowers of this easy to grow perennial. The blooms can appear as early as June, and once it gets going, it usually won’t stop until well into autumn, so it really does put on a dazzling – and prolonged display.
Garden care: Remove the faded blooms regularly to prolong flowering. Apply a dry mulch around the base of the plant to protect the roots from frost damage and cut back in spring when new shoots appear low down on the stem. Lift and divide congested clumps in springin 1 liter pots
